It's 11:30 on Christmas eve and everyone has gone to bed.  It's been a bitter sweet day.  Shannon came over today with Jamie after church and we had a great time making cookies. (or I should say trying to)  LOL  The doorbell rang and there was Danny and Max with a huge bouquet of flowers, all your favorites.  What a special treat!  They hung out most of the afternoon.   A blast from the past...but oh how much I loved having the noise, confusion, and laughter in the house.  It's been way too quiet since you've been gone.

We went to Leptondale tonight for the Christmas eve service and it was wonderful being around people who knew you.  You are still in the hearts of so many people. 

I was feeling really blue tonight as I was getting ready for tomorrow and as I was picking up I came across a card from flowers you sent years ago.  It was stuck to the bottom of a basket and it read...."I LOVE YOU MOM!  JENN"   Talk about perfect timing!  Thanks Pumpkin!  I needed to hear that!

I love you and miss you so much!  Wishing you were here but I can only imagine the celebration your having in Heaven on Christmas Day!  

Merry Christmas Jenny!  and never forget how much we love and miss you!

It is little more than two years since you were here in our home.  Little did we know that it would be the last time we would sing our song together. ..... .

I will always remember when you were a little girl when we sang our song ; and then  I tucked you into bed when we came to visit.  Then as you grew older, we would sit on the bottom step and sing it before you went to bed.
